Uniform Works
Uniform Works sits in the heart of Clerkenwell and is named after the Uniform Clothing & Equipment Co, who occupied the property from around 1910s to the 1990s. When purchased in 2015, the property comprised of two separate buildings above ground floor.
As part of our redevelopment, the two buildings were sensitively linked together through the construction of industrial style glazed facades. Two stories were also added, and the basement extended to improve its ceiling height. In addition, large skylights and glass floors were built at ground floor to flood the two lowest floors with natural light. The redevelopment increased the lettable area by approximately 50 % in addition to three new external roof terraces. The whole building was let immediately upon completion to a marketing company.
